An eSIM MiFi device is a portable WiFi hotspot that connects to mobile networks using an embedded digital SIM instead of a removable plastic card. You install a data plan onto it by scanning a QR code, then the device shares that connection over WiFi with your phones, laptops and tablets.
Look for the words "unlocked" and "GSMA-compliant eSIM" in your device's specifications, or check whether the settings menu has an option to add an eSIM by QR code.
